Lab Two


Instructions:

Each student will post a Wiki Page on a specific "Cell Structure / Macromolecule".

(10 points Possible)

 

Start by going out on the web and search about one of the Cell Structure / Macromolecules listed below.

 

Grading will be based on the following criteria:

 

10 points: If your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page includes the following.

 

Link from the bottom of this Wiki page to your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page.

 

Written description (3 paragraphs minimum) about your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule"

MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS. NO COPY | PASTE SOMEONE ELSES WORDS

1st paragraph must describe the Cell Structure / Macromolecules structural characteristics (e.g. describe how your Cell Structure / Macromolecule is organized and where it is located in the cell).

2nd paragraph should describe the function your Cell Structure / Macromolecule plays in the cell.

3rd paragraph should describe any additional unique characteristics of the Cell Structure / Macromolecule.

 

Include a minimum of one visual item (picture, video or animation) to support your description of your specific "Cell Structure / Macromolecule".

EVERY STUDENT MUST HAVE THEIR OWN ELEMENT CELL STRUCTURE / MACROMOLECULE WIKI PAGE (NO DUPLICATION)...  MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT ALL OTHER STUDENTS WIKI PAGES BEFORE POSTING YOUR OWN.  THIS IS A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE ASSIGNMENT.  STUDENTS WHO SELECT AN "CELL STRUCTURE" FROM THE LIST BELOW EARLY IN THE WEEK GET MORE OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM.  STUDENTS WHO WAIT UNTIL THE DEADLINE WILL GET LESS OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM.

 

ANY STUDENT WHO ALTERS, COPIES, DELETES ANOTHER STUDENTS WORK WILL RECEIVE A ZERO (0) SCORE ON THAT PARTICULAR WIKI ASSIGNMENT.

 

 

Scoring Rubric -

10 points: If your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page includes all 4 of the items listed above.

 

7 points: If your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page includes 3 of the items listed above.

 

5 points: If your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page 2 of the items listed above.

 

3 points: If your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page 1 of the items listed above.

 

1 points: If your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page was attempted but failed to include any of the items listed above.

 

0 points: If your "Cell Structure / Macromolecule" Wiki page was not attempted.
