Bj lab 13

I think that as things progress in molecular biotechnology it could have a large impact on my future. With one of the main things being DNA cloning. If this becomes largely successful I feel like I would be walking around places and have all these people who were essentially artificially made. Rather than being created by a man and women through egg/sperm insemination people could begin to be made in a lab. Not only could humans be made in labs but almost anything that contains nucleic acids or proteins would be able to be manipulated and recreated. On one hand I am excited to see what the future hold in scientific advancements and the things that could become possible. But on the other I am also scared to see how things are going to progress, if they are going to develop guidelines or new morals to accompany the new possibilities, or if those using such technology are going to have to keep some things or information confidential or not.
