"How Biotechnology will impact my life in the future?"

Biotechnology will impact my life in the future in many ways because the current resources that are being used into depletion are running out in my lifetime. If things don't drastically change with the types of fuels we are using then things will only get worse. They'll be more carbon gasses and green house gasses filing up the atmosphere and polluting our breathing air, they'll be major climate changes and wildlife extinctions. Food will become harder to cultivate and to keep up the demand with. Once things change we drastically decrease our pollutants and we start creating new fuels out of natural, replenishable, sustainable resources then we'll see that biotechnology has continued to impacted our lives. Our everyday life is impacted by biotechnology and it will be that way for many years to come. Biotechnology plays a role in our food and beverage industries as well. The bio-engineering of our produce to create something that grows faster and bigger to keep up with the high demand, but at what cost to the consumer? The idea is to reduce natural toxins in these plants, provide simpler and faster ways to detect pathogens, all the while increasing farming efficiency and maintaining freshness. Is it healthy or is it not healthy to eat genetically modified foods? There are still finding out more about how eating those foods even effect us to this day. Biotechnology has enabled therapies over the past 20 years that have been and still are working miracles for your loved ones that are suffering from certain cancers, these breakthroughs are saving lives and people are surviving everyday. Gene profiling, gene therapy, DNA fingerprinting, the development of vaccines, antibiotics and other medicines are more examples of Biotechnology. It's kind of everywhere and in everything.
