How Biotechnology Will Impact My Life in the Future?

by Masnoo Adem

I am certain biotechnology will impact my life in the future greatly. Biotechnology has shown a lot of promise, and I believe it’ll play a big part in new advancements in the future that will. It’s already been used to create many positive changes to our world today and will continue to do so as time continues.

In the instance of medicine, Biotechnology medicine that helps to treat and prevent a number of illnesses has already benefited 350 million patients around the world. Biotechnology has also played a part in drugs for treating cancer and heart disease. Additionally, it is being used in innovative research to cure Alzheimer’s and even reverse aging. Not only that, but scientists believe it could be used to safely edit DNA to cure genetic diseases. Medical biotechnology is a career path I've been interested in for a couple years and the more I learn, the more I want to get involved with it. So many people have been helped by the advancements made by biotech, and I would love to play a part in that. Biology and medicine are two fields that I'm very passionate about, and I could see a career in biotechnology being a part of my future.

Millions of people around the world have already reaped the extraordinary benefits of biotechnology. It is evident how much of a positive impact biotechnology is currently making and I imagine that impact will continue to grow as more is learned each and every day. I’m sure there will come a point in my life where I will also benefit immensely from the innovation that comes as a result of biotechnology. Whether that comes from the position of being a patient or working in that field, I do believe I see biotechnology becoming a positive part of my life in the future.
