The article by Konrad HochedlInger and Rudolf Jeanisch focuses on nuclear cloning also known as nuclear transplantation. The article claims that nuclear transplantation is more efficient when compared to reproductive cloning. The authors argue that nuclear transplantation therapy can even improve the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and other illnesses such as diabetes during this process of cloning.

The article goes on to address some common abnormalities in animals the main problem being death soon after implantation. Other abnormalities faced by these animals include abnormally large body or placenta size, kidney failure, and even increased chances of tumors. However, the authors explain that these abnormalities are only present in the clones but not in their offspring. Looking at these complications, it is no surprise that a more efficient and alternative methods are being researched. The authors explain that methods and even stem cells are being interchanged and their results recorded.

In my opinion, I am not against the use of stem cells, however, I believe all actions should be ethical. I support the use of these stem cells in animals as it can result in groundbreaking discoveries., but I do not think this should be sued on humans.
