Spinal stenosis happens when the spaces in the spine narrow and create pressure on the spinal cord and nerve roots.
The symptoms include: Pain in the lower back. Burning pain or ache that radiates down the buttocks and into the legs, Numbness, tingling, or cramping in the legs and feet. These may become more pronounced during standing or walking. Weakness in the legs and feet. Under severe conditions people with stenosis.
The causes can come with age, and also people with arthritis are often diagnosed with stenosis.
For treatment of stenosis you can see a physical therapist, chiropractor, or even take medication which would include anti- inflammatory medication. Worse case scenario you could have surgery which would include spinal infusion or Laminectomy which is were a surgeon would help to open the narrow pathway in your spine.
