Vascular disease is an overall condition that affects the blood vessels. There's various types of it, when the blood vessels are affected the blood flow tends to be affected and even more so tissues not getting enough blood. Types of conditions that fall under this category commonly tends to be Aneurysm (which causes a bulge in the wall), Atherosclerosis or peripheral artery disease (when plague builds up in either the coronary arteries or peripheral which makes the vessels more narrow making it harder for blood to flow properly).

Vascular disease treatments that are most recommended or offered tend to be blood pressure drugs, cholesterol medication, and other drugs to prevent blood clots. There are times where there is serious cases and a surgery called angioplasty is done (where a vessel is cleared or widen depending on the circumstance.

"Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the leading cause of death in the United States" (acc.org).

There are many healthy methods to incorporate in anyone's lifestyle in order to avoid this overall condition like maintaining a healthy diet and weight, exercising, quitting or not smoking tobacco and making sure to employ stress management techniques. Monitoring your blood sugar and cholesterol levels in the long run can also help.
