Arsenic is highly poisonous to the human body and a known carcinogen. Meaning, it has the strong potential to lead to many types of cancer. Arsenic is commonly found in drinking water and poses a real threat for many countries and people throughout the world.There is also concern over arsenic found in some foods, as it not only can be found naturally in trace amounts in the soil but also can be used in pesticides. Arsenic can also be found in water, with trace amounts being found in the fish the humans consume. Long term exposure to arsenic can lead to arsenic poisoning, which can be fatal.
