Instructions:

Each student will post "histological" information on a specific organ in the human body.

10 points Possible

 

Start by going out on the web and search about one of human body organs listed below that you would like to research on the tissue structure and function of in more detail. Your job will be post an information page about the specific histological (tissue) make up for that organ.  Once you've chosen an organ that has not been taken make sure you add a link from the Organ list below to your specific Organ Histology Wiki page.  Be sure to describe the structure (anatomy) and the function (physiology) of the tissues and the organ as a whole.

 

Grading will be based on the following criteria:

 

Scoring Rubric -

10 points: If your Organ Histology Wiki page includes the following.

  1. Link from from this Wiki page to your Organ Histology Wiki page.
  2. Insert (or post) an appropriate image to help support your Organ Histology Wiki page.
  3. Text description on the histological makeup (Structure and Function) on the body organ you are presenting on your Wiki page.
  4. Reference URL (link) NOTE: MUST BE A DIFFERENT REFERENCE URL FROM ALL THE OTHER STUDENTS (Check to verify).
